A Weird day at the Beach!!

We headed down to Longbeach to visit with my mom last saturday. The kids always love going to visit Grandma Moses, especially now that she has a wii! The last couple of times we have gone down there it seems we don't get time to go to the beach. Well this time I PROMISED the kids I would take them no matter what. And I'm really happy we did, because I've never seen the beach like this before! It was everywhere, this big white huge foam floating in from the ocean! It seriously looked like someone had dumped a ton of dish soap in the ocean and turned it into huge salty sandy bubbles! The kids and the dog thought it was so neat! Also the water would be way out there and then all of a sudden a huge wave would bring it all the way up almost to the grass. And when the waves came up it would push all this foam up onto the beach. Twice we almost got caught in the water it came up so fast, and then it would pull back out way far. The wind was also blowing so it would blow the foam around, it was really neat to see!

Going to the Blazer Game

Aron has been dying to go to a blazer game since the season started. Before every game he gets on craigslist and starts looking at what kind of deal he could get on tickets. This night was the same only an hour before the game is going to start he decides to buy 2 tickets!! He called a couple of friends to see if they were interested but it was just to short of notice so he decided to make it a father son outing. Dalan was so excited!! He has been asking Aron to take him to a blazer game. They got there just in time for tip off. They were close to the basket and aron said Dalan was high fiving everyone around him. He is so NOT shy at all!! Loves to talk to EVERYONE! He also was able to meet the blazer mascot and take a picture with him. Dalan did tell me though that there was ice cream there and he really, really wanted some but dad told him he could have ice cream at home. So naturally he wanted to know where his ice cream was, sorry kid I don't have any ice cream either!

Halloween

This year for Halloween we went trick or treating with our good friends the Halgrens. It was a good night. I ended up being sick that day but refused to miss out on taking the kids out, so I bucked it up and went out anyways. The fresh air actually felt really good!
Dalan was a storm trooper, Abby tinkerbell, and Maddy was a little lamb. They all looked so cute & had a ton of fun!

A rare picture of all of us together!

Out & About

She was so good & quiet, she didn't make a peep the whole time, just taking it all in.

Afterwards at home with their stash!

His mask was so funny, it would smash his nose

My little lamb!
