Random Pics of Madelyn

Warning, lots of pictures of one cute baby!!
Here are some random pictures of Madelyn in the month of June. She is growing so big and way to fast. I wish I could just freeze time and make her stay little forever. I am so grateful and so blessed to have this little girl in my life. She has brought so much joy into our family and we all love her a ton!

Sleeping so peacefully, 5 months old

The kids kept bugging me to get this out. Madelyn really enjoyed it, she loved being able to stand up on her own. 51/2 months old

This girl loves, loves her pacifier, it's with her at all times!

Chilling out by the couch, she prefers her stomach over her back. Even when she is sleeping. After she goes to bed I sneak in every night and find her sleeping on her tummy. I end up slowly turning her back to her back, but sometime through out the night she ends up rolling back on to her tummy, little stinker!

First time eating a teething biscuit, she loved it!!

Home Made Pizzas

After seeing a friends blog post about making homemade pizzas with her boy I decided to give it a try for a family night. The kids loved the idea, they each got their own personal pizza to make. They did the sauce, decided how much cheese they wanted and then put on there own toppings. Dalan's not much for toppings so he went with pepperoni. Abigail wanted olive with hers (loves them) also decided on some canadian bacon and then wanted mushrooms to finish off her face. The mushrooms were the cheeks. I made Aron's and mine. I gotta say that it didn't taste the best, but we had a lot of fun making them!

I am SO behind on my blogging and posting. I'm trying to play catch up now and just recently posted a bunch, but the catch is they are all in the month of April. So you got to go there to see them. I will also be adding some to the month of May and June, and then hopefully be all caught up!

Few Days Later Some Carrotts

A few days later she got her first vegetable, carrots! She ate it like a pro, such a little cutie. I kept having to prop her back up though, she would keep leaning in to get closer to the food, hence ending up very much hunched over. I have to thank my little man Dalan, he was my photographer here.

Madelyn's First Time Eating

At 5 months old we decided to give rice cereal a try with Madelyn. She was so funny and cute and did so good! I think after watching her siblings and parents stuffing things in their mouths she was totally ready to try this out! She got so excited and probably a little confused that she just tried to eat the bowl. Here is my little cutie!

Can you say future MOVIE STARS!!!

Tuesday we were able to go down to oaks parks and be extras in the movie they are filming here in the area. The movie is not titled yet, but it stars Harrison Ford, Brendan Fraiser, and Keri Russell.
It was quite the day, filled mostly with sitting or standing around. It was a great experience but I don't think I would do it again. We didn't get paid, it was just oppurtunity, they needed a lot of extras to fill up the park. I got there at noon and didn't leave until 7pm, very long day, and I've got to say the kids did so well, I am so proud of them! The highlight of the the day was after 3 hours of sitting and doing absolutley NOTHING, they decided to open the park up to all the extras and let them ride the rides for free! The kids were so excited, especially since we had told them over and over that they were probably not going to be able to ride the rides at all that day. We eventually were able to see Brendan and Keri but you are not allowed to ask for auotographs, talk to them or take pictures of them. At one point Brendan Frasier did walk right past Aron and looked into the stoller he was pushing and smiled at our little Madelyn:) All in all I highly doubt that any of us will actually be in the movie, if there is a slight chance you might catch a glimpse of me pushing Madelyn in the stroller. So we will see, oh and I won a years deluxe membership the extras website. They do lots of commercials for the area and other films that come. They casted all the extras for the movie Twilight. I gave the membership to Aron, so I don't know maybe he can become a paid extra and we will see his back in an upcoming big film!
Standing around waiting, thankfully it was the one day that was not hot, it actually started to rain here and there.

The scrambler

I think this is one of their favorites, the slide!

Primary Talk & Scripture

Yesterday at Church Dalan gave his first talk in primary and Abigail gave her first scripture. They were both so excited they could hardly stand it. I thought maybe Abby would get nervous and scared, but she wasn't at all. I told them if they did really good they would get a special treat afterwards! They did awesome!! I helped them both and Aron watched and listened. He said he couldn't understand anything Abby said (She is going into speech therapy to help her articulate her words better), but that he understood most of Dalan's talk. Abigail's scripture was from John 3:5. She has this little white bible that came with some toy she got years ago, she loves it, so I showed her where the scripture was and she brought that with her. Dalan's talk was on baptism, he talked about Jesus being an example to us, read the 4th article of faith, and told about his cousin Corey being baptized and how excited he was to turn 8 and also be baptized by his father. I am SO proud of the both of them. They both love to go to primary and I am so grateful to both of their teachers and their leaders, it makes all the difference to them!
