Let's Carve!

We finally made time to carve pumpkins Sunday night. The kids have been asking since we went to the pumpkin patch, and they have known since then exactly how they wanted their pumpkins to look. Abigail was set on a happy pumpkin, and she described to Aron how she wanted it. Two triangle eyes, not a triangle nose, she wanted a circle nose, and a happy smile with teeth showing.
Dalan on the other hand has been set on having an angry pumpkin. He also wanted triangle eyes, but was set on having some eyebrows that were angry. Aron had to redraw the eyebrows several times to get it to Dalan's liking. He then wanted an upside down triangle nose with an angry looking mouth with scary teeth.

Aron did an awesome job drawing the faces and carving out the faces but wanted nothing to do with cleaning the pumpkins out. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty and neither did Abby! So Dalan and I cleaned the pumpkins out!

I think this was the only time Abby actually contributed to the process, she poked out the eyes and nose!
She was so proud of her little happy pumkin!

Dalan was watching Aron very closely to make sure he got everything just right!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

PuMpKin PaTCh FuN!!

I found a really cool pumpkin patch farm out in Oregon next to Aron's dads house. We headed out there, they had TONS of stuff for the kids to do! There were all kinds of activities for them and then when they were done playing we went on a hayride were they dropped us off at the corn maze. It seemed like we were lost in there forever, we just kept walking and walking and the corn is so tall you can't get your bearings. But we finally made it out to the pumpkin patch and the kids each picked out their pumpkin with the help of Dad! He is kind of picky when it comes to the pumpkins shape and color. We did finally get some and ended the day buying a few items at their little market. It was great family FUN!

Some of the attractions or activities they had for the kids!

This hay maze was one of the kids favorite. They had 5 0r 6 different tunnels going on in there.

This was a pile of filbert nuts they could jump in and play with, Abby was a little timid about this, but Dalan dove right in!

They had these black tubes set up on a hill. The kids would get in and then roll down the hill. Dalan had a blast, spinning around and around! Abby being the girly, girl she is wouldn't even think about getting in one!

Abby did have lots of fun at this slide! Actually we couldn't get her to stop. It was a pretty big slide and with the burlap bags they flew down so fast. I actually thought she would be scared and cry, but she loved it!

Hayride time!

Let's Paint!

We really haven't been crafty at all lately and Abby kept asking if she could paint, so I finally dug out the paints from a box and cut out these paper pumpkins for them to paint. Abby wanted an orange pumpkin and Dalan wanted blue, I think because his candy pumpkin basket is blue. When they were all done they insisted on displaying their art in their rooms on the wall!

7 Months Prego and counting!

Everythings going good! I finally got my new doctor and she is really sweet and nice. I feel really comfortable with her and lucky! She ordered me another ultrasound because she said I was growing a little small. With the other two I had double ultrasounds also. It is always neat since the child is now bigger and you can more clearly see the shapes of the child. Also I was able to clarify that I am indeed having a little girl!

I think there just cute kids so I threw this one in there!

Baptism & Blessing Day

Corey is 8 years old now and he is the oldest grandchild. So the very first to be baptized. Also his new baby sister was blessed on the same night. I'm so glad I got to be there with my family to share in this occasion. It was really neat for Dalan because it was the first baptism that he had ever seen. He asked all kinds of questions and was so excited for corey! He got down right in front of the font to watch the occasion, I was afraid he would fall in he looked so close. I forgot to tell Dalan that he needed to be quiet and he was so excited I thought he would start jumping up and down and clapping after corey went under the water, but thankfully he didn't. He did keep asking when it was going to be his turn and if mommy could dress in white with him. I enjoyed explaining everything to him and the next day when he saw aron he told him all about it and how when he turned 8 his dad was going to baptize him.
After the baptism my new little niece Cyauna was blessed, it was quite a night!

Sister Alex, myself and Cyauna

They are both so pretty dressed in white.

Pirate Party

My girlfriends little boy Aiden had his 3rd birthday and she decided to do a pirate theme. Dalan was so excited because that's what he wants to be for Halloween is a pirate. They had tons of fun playing at the park, eating food & cake, swinging at the pinata, and going on a treasure hunt to find all kinds of goodies. It was fun to be around some of my friends and their families again!

Aiden the Birthday Boy taking a swing!

Dalan was the oldest one there and thought he was tough stuff swinging away at that pirate!

Abby needed a little help from her dad.

The cutest pirates I've ever seen!
