Abigail's Tumbling

At the beginning of the month we decided to put Abby into a tumbling class since Dalan was doing soccer. She absolutely loved it!! I was a little nervous at first and thought maybe she would be to shy to do it, but the girl is coming out of her shell! She was able to go twice a week for 50 min. and the class was a month long. She wants to do it again but I'm ready for a break. For some insane reason I put Dalan in soccer twice a week, Abby into tumbling twice a week, and both of them into swimming lessons twice a week, all at the same time! Plus I'm still trying to get my schedule down with Madelyn, it was a little crazy for a while, but I managed, and I'm glad I did. They both had so much fun and Abigail is really starting to become more sociable. Here are some pics of her during different classes.

Mastering the back roll

Learning to jump and plant your feet

Dalan waited so patiently during her classes, he would go off to the side and try doing the rolls and jumps all by himself

Crab-walk

She's my little princess!

Headstand and then a roll

Hooray I did it!

Something to do with jump ropes

They handed out these cute certificates on the last day of class

Swimming Classes

We finally got the kids into swim lessons at the beginning of the month. They go twice a week for a full month, for this class. The next class we are going to wait until the end of June so there buddy Aiden can go with them. They both did very well, this class was to get them used to the water and comfortable putting their faces in the water. There instructors were so great and really knew had to teach children. Now I just need to get to the pool with them to practice.

Oh, I kept forgetting to bring Madelyn's pacifier with me to the lessons. During this time she usually takes a nap and cannot sleep without her pacifier. It was awful she would cry and cry and in the changing rooms it would echo off the walls so bad. I finally went to the store and bought a bunch of extras, stored one in the car and one in the diaper bag as backups!

Easter 2009

Easter was such a fun and crazy day. It started off with 9AM church, I hate 9AM church! Getting 3 kids and myself ready in time for 9AM church is just cruel to me. We wanted to make it just to sacrament, but then found out Aron and I were the only ones there for church, the other two leaders were out of town. So we ended up staying for the whole duration then rushed home, made fruit salad, got the kids changed and myself, feed Madelyn, then make the 45 min. trek over to Grandma Pezl's place. Of course we are usually one of the first, Aron always thinks we will be last, but we never are.
We had a good time over there, Aron's family is always so sweet and gracious to us. We are the only ones with kids, I think it brings some life back into the house. Besides the two dozen eggs the kids dyed & 3 dozen candy filled eggs we brought, Aron's aunts filled 4 dozen plastic eggs with candy and Aron's step mom brought a dozen real eggs. For two little kids that is a lot of eggs and candy.
Sunday Morning

I was able to snap one quick photo of Maddy before we had to rush out the door to make it to church in time. And we only live about 10 blocks away.

Scavenging for eggs

We had to empty out the baskets to make room for the rest they still hadn't found yet.

I thought this picture was so pretty with the tree in bloom and some of the blossoms dropping to the ground.

score!!

Abigail's Second Haircut

Abigail's hair is getting so long that it is starting to get hard to maintain, especially after having Madelyn, my time management is not the same. Aron has been telling me to cut it for a while, but he doesn't understand it's not just that easy to cut a little girls hair. So I finally decided to take her in and get the job done. It was a busy day with dying Easter eggs and a friends birthday party to go too, and getting ready for Easter the next day, but I manage to take her in. I don't know why but I was so nervous, I just love Abby's hair. It came out very cute though and she was excited to be a big girl and get her haircut by someone else than mom.
I need to take an after picture still, but just wanted to get this up.

Dying Easter Eggs

Easter Egg Dying Time!!
They were so excited, we bought the dye way to early and every day I had to hear can we do the eggs today, can we do the eggs today, can we do the eggs today? It got to be very annoying. Sidenote, I actually say annoying enough now that Dalan tells abby she is annoying all the time, oops! Anyways they had fun, we only did 2 dozen because they had so many plastic eggs filled with candy. Even more when we showed up at Grandma Pezl's their aunt's had filled 4 dozen more plastic eggs with candy! Way to much candy!
Here are some pics, they loved it!
