Easter was such a fun and crazy day. It started off with 9AM church, I hate 9AM church! Getting 3 kids and myself ready in time for 9AM church is just cruel to me. We wanted to make it just to sacrament, but then found out Aron and I were the only ones there for church, the other two leaders were out of town. So we ended up staying for the whole duration then rushed home, made fruit salad, got the kids changed and myself, feed Madelyn, then make the 45 min. trek over to Grandma Pezl's place. Of course we are usually one of the first, Aron always thinks we will be last, but we never are.
We had a good time over there, Aron's family is always so sweet and gracious to us. We are the only ones with kids, I think it brings some life back into the house. Besides the two dozen eggs the kids dyed & 3 dozen candy filled eggs we brought, Aron's aunts filled 4 dozen plastic eggs with candy and Aron's step mom brought a dozen real eggs. For two little kids that is a lot of eggs and candy.
Sunday Morning
I was able to snap one quick photo of Maddy before we had to rush out the door to make it to church in time. And we only live about 10 blocks away.
Scavenging for eggs
We had to empty out the baskets to make room for the rest they still hadn't found yet.
I thought this picture was so pretty with the tree in bloom and some of the blossoms dropping to the ground.
