SHE IS SO CUTE!! Well at least I think so, I am her mother though. Last Saturday I went to a bunch of garage sales with the kids and ended up buying Abigail these Sesame Street knee and elbow pads, and since then everyday she has been asking to wide her twaining wheel bike. It sounds something like that. We were busy over the weekend and couldn't get to it until today, finally after begging, pleading, and mostly whining I was able to get outside with her and let her practice riding a bike. She was a little scared at first but then found her courage. Dalan was such a big brother, instructing her and encouraging her. Eventually she showed off to Aron her new accomplishment.

5 AM Wake up CALL
I am NOT a morning person at ALL....and this morning at 5AM the birds outside are window were going crazy chirping away. I couldn't believe how loud they were and how close to the window they were chirping. Then Aron informed me we had a visitor, a raccoon sitting right outside our bedroom window...lazily lounging on our rooftop while the birds around him were going crazy! Not only did it wake up myself and Aron, it ended up waking Madelyn up also. I decided to quickly feed her while she was up and then couldn't resist snapping a picture of this little fellow. Eventually the birds gave up on him and all was peaceful again.

Memorial Day
Didn't do anything real eventful today for the holiday. Just some chores outside, a little house cleaning inside.
In the afternoon we decided to take a drive out towards camas river road. Eventually we would love to live out that way.
Afterwards we stopped off at the park and let the kids run around. Dalan is trying to learn how to swing himself, he is getting it down pretty good until he gets to tired, which actually happens pretty quick in his world.
After that Laura watched the kids and Aron and I went out to eat at Henry's in downtown Portland. We love to get away even if it is for an hour or two just to spend some alone time together. Were so thankful for Aron's mom and her babysitting services to us!
Here are a couple pics Aron shot of the kids while he was working outside.

Memorial Weekend
We had a nice fun weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to the zoo with my dad and donnamay. After that was dinner at Hunans for dad's 60th birthday. Sunday after church we went to Aron's dad's house for some barbecue. Both days the sun was shining and the skies clear.

Fun at Omsi
We recently got a family pass that allows us to get into a ton of stuff, the zoo, omsi, and a bunch of other things. So the kids and I headed out to omsi with Rachel and her kids (who also got the pass). I hadn't been inside omsi in probably 15-20 years so it was a lot of fun to see everything. The kids had fun and Madelyn was really good. We were there for about 2 hours checking everything out!
Dalan loved this giant ear! It was the first thing he told dad about.
With their friends Mary and Leah in the giant nest.

They all 3 got SHOTS!
Am I gonna get a pinch?
That's what my kids ask me when I take them to the doctors, they don't like getting pinches!
So I was behind on my doc visits for Madelyn and ended up having to schedule her 3 month (she's 4 months now) check-up at the same time that Abigail was getting her 4 year old check-up. And they were both due for shots, also at the same time Dalan needed to get his last 2 shots he needed before entering kindergarten. Aron was able to come with me thank goodness. We got there and Dalan was really excited to get his shots, kept asking the nurse and doctor when he was going to get it and they kept looking at him like he was crazy. 5 months earlier Dalan had to get 2 shots and surprisingly didn't cry and thought it was a piece of cake. We praised him so much about how brave he was that I think he wanted to show his sisters how brave and strong he was again. Anyways the time finally came and Dalan went first. Aron held his hand as he got his shots and sadly he was NOT so brave this time. He screamed his head off!! Of course that freaked Abigail out and when it came her turn she was already crying. Aron ended up having to hold her down while she cried out, don't let them hurt me. Thank goodness for Aron because that would have been hard on me. Then came Madelyn and she also cried with the other two on the side whimpering. It was funny and sad, I know I'm a bad mother for laughing but you just had to be there. On the way out I offered them a stop at the store to pick out some ice cream. Dalan limped all the way to the car and continued his show for the next day. Sometimes I would catch him not limping and mention it and he would quickly go back to limping. He is such a dramatic little kid!
Love you guys, sorry for the pinches!

4 Months & She's Rolling!
Look at me I'm
ROLLING AROUND!
The other day I came downstairs and noticed Madelyn was on her stomach. I asked Aron if he put her that way, he managed to look up long enough to say answer no. So I missed the first one, but it wasn't long before she did it again. She really likes to roll onto her stomach but hasn't figured out yet how to roll back onto her back and gets quite upset that she is now stuck!
I grabbed the camera to get one of her rolls!
