She is 3 years old and just now getting her first haircut. I have been so scared to touch it for fear I would do something wrong. It was finally time though for a good trim and it was getting so long it was hard to manage. Aron's been asking me for a while now when I was going to get to it, SO I finally decided to give it a try the other day. I cut Dalan's hair all the time just fine, and when I was younger I used to cut my sisters hair and my friends. Just trims nothing fancy, but something about cutting my daughters hair for the first time was freaking me out! When Dalan gets his cut he always gets a sucker, so she insisted on her sucker right away. She did really good, but eventually was tired of sitting there. I can't say that I am 100% thrilled with the job I did, but at least it wasn't a train wreck in the end! BUT next time I think that I will let someone else do it for me. It especially didn't help with Aron watching me every second telling me to just put it in a ponytail and cut it off! Eventually after almost taking his head off, he went and sat down on the couch and left me alone. All in all it turned out alright, but I don't think I will do it again.
